Bandra Blasters to face Eagle Thane Strikers in T20 Mumbai opener


The Wankhede Stadium is ready for a two-week cricket carnival, with the Mumbai Cricket Affiliation on Friday (Could 15, 2026) unveiling the fixtures for Season 4 of the T20 Mumbai League and the inaugural T20 Mumbai Ladies’s League.

The dual tournaments — that includes 30 matches throughout 13 days — will run from June 1 to 13, bringing collectively a mix of India stars, Indian Premier League and Ladies’s Premier League regulars, and Mumbai’s rising home expertise beneath one roof.

The lads’s competitors will start with a double-header on June 1, with Yashasvi Jaiswal’s Bandra Blasters taking over Shardul Thakur-led Eagle Thane Strikers within the afternoon, adopted by Tushar Deshpande’s Mumbai South Central Maratha Royals going through Sarfaraz Khan’s Aakash Tigers Mumbai Western Suburbs within the night.

The match is predicted to showcase marquee names together with Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Ajinkya Rahane, Shivam Dube and Yashasvi, alongside rising stars like Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Musheer Khan.

The ladies’s league — a landmark addition to Mumbai’s cricket construction — will begin on June 2, with Saima Thakor’s Thane Sky Risers taking over Sayali Satghare-led SoBo Mumbai Falcons.

MCA president Ajinkya Naik termed the match a “world-class cricketing spectacle”, whereas League Governing Council chairman Rajdip Gupta pressured that the competitors would proceed serving as a key growth platform for Mumbai’s younger expertise.
