eBay has turned down Ryan Cohen’s unsolicited supply to take over its enterprise.
The net market large stated Tuesday that it has formally rejected the GameStop CEO’s $55.5 billion bid for the corporate.
“We now have concluded that your proposal is neither credible nor engaging,” eBay’s chairman wrote in a letter to Cohen.
“We now have taken under consideration such components as 1) eBay’s standalone prospects, 2) the uncertainty relating to your financing proposal, 3) the impression of your proposal on eBay’s long-term progress and profitability, 4) the leverage, operational dangers, and management construction of a mixed entity, 5) the ensuing implications of those components on valuation, and 6) GameStop’s governance and government incentives,” he added.
