India Handmade Collective (IHMC), which has been connecting weavers, spinners and craftspeople to eco-conscious shoppers via its exhibitions, is launching its Telangana chapter. The collective helps artisan teams that craft handwoven clothes and use pure dyes. Following the inauguration of the Pavilion on March 6, a three-day Pure Dye Handmade Competition might be held until March 8; 11am to 8pm on the premises. The competition will showcase handspun and handwoven textiles, stone cookware, eco-friendly jewelry, toys, way of life equipment and way more. Bullrush grass craft, palm leaf craft, reedgrass craft, seed artwork, hand spinning and Lambadi mirror workshops may also be carried out.
